The Tree of Life Colorado Connection. Kevin Centola grew up to be a fireman. As long as he could remember, he had always wanted to do two things, be a firefighter and to help orphans. In 1997, Kevin was living in El Paso, Texas with his wife Luz. He was working at the firestation, when an old friend called him. Phil Green was in town. Phil had come from Denver, CO with a group of Christians for a mission trip to Juarez, just across the border from El Paso. Exciting News from Tree of Life Colorado!!
Change is in the air. Sometimes change is scary and sometimes change is exciting. Here at T.O.L.C.C. the changes are exciting and good. I know you have not heard from us for some time but we have been busy with trips to Mexico and working hard to restructure the organization. You are an important part of the T.O.L.C.C. ministry and we want to keep you informed with all we are doing.First of all we are applying for our non-profit status 501c3 recognition with the US government. The final papers are in the hands of our attorney and should be sent to the IRS real soon. We are now an official corporation in the state of Colorado. We are doing all of this so that we can issue tax-deductible receipts for donations we receive here in Denver. We have also enlarged the board of directors by adding several new board members. It is exciting to have new people involved with us in a leadership position as we continue to grow and develop the ministry in Mexico. We thank God for these men and women who are willing to give of their time and talent to help the children of Juarez.Thank you for your support and partnership. We continue to need you to pray and to give. God bless you.-Article by Dean Yoder of T.O.L.C.C
